The YHFS Returns Policy

At yourhealthfoodstore.co.uk we are happiest when you are happy.
If for any reason you have a concern regarding your purchase, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will do all we can to ensure you receive the quality of product you are entitled to expect - OR YOUR MONEY BACK!

What can I return?

  1. Any unopened (seal unbroken) item purchased from yourhealthfoodstore that fails to meet your expectations.
  2. Any opened (seal broken) item purchased from yourhealthfoodstore that, on inspection, appears to be not of a merchantable quality.

How long have I got to make a return?

  1. By law you have 7 days from the date you receive your order to return any item(s) for any reason (or even no reason!) in exchange for a full refund. This 7 day 'Cooling Off' period does not affect your statutory rights.
  2. In addition, if you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, our returns policy offers you 30 days to report your specific concern(s) for consideration.
  3. Please note: the customer has a 'Duty of Reasonable Care' to ensure that any returned item arrives back in its original condition.

How do I notify you of a concern?

  1. In the first instance, please telephone +44 (0)1257 274 127 or email sales@yourhealthfoodstore.co.uk to report your concern(s).
  2. Please quote your Order Reference.
  3. Please make sure you are given a Returns Reference number.

What returns documentation do I need to send?

You will need your Returns Reference number to attach to the item(s) you are returning. This will be given to you when you first notify us of your concern.

What refunds/charges will apply?

  1. All Items returned will be refunded in full including any (pro rata) postal charge from the original order.
  2. We will also refund you for the cost of returning the item(s) provided they are sent 2nd class Royal Mail in the UK & Royal Mail 'Air Mail' service in Europe & Rest of World.
  3. We do not charge a re-stocking fee in any circumstances.

When will I receive my refund?

  1. Refunds will be made within 15 days of you reporting your concern.
  2. We will not make you wait until the returned item arrives back with us.
  3. If we make the refund and the returned item does not then arrive back we may debit you for the loss at a later date.
  4. If we make the refund and the returned item is not as described by you we may debit you for the cost at a later date.
  5. Refunds will be made to the card (or PayPal Account) used to pay for the original order.

This Policy effective 1st April 2011. We reserve the right to make changes to this policy.
